IT’S TIME TO ROAR!!

What do you think of when you think of a lion’s roar? I think of power and authority. They say a lion’s roar can be heard 5 miles away. I can’t imagine being in close distance to a lion’s roar. I would be petrified. It would definitely make me run as fast as I could. Why am I sharing this? I am sharing it because I recently was reminded by Holy Spirit to open my mouth and not to bow down to anything that tries to come against me. He specifically showed me a roaring lion and told me that “IT’S TIME TO ROAR AGAIN!” I realized that there were certain areas in my life where I was not opening my mouth and taking authority. I was listening to doctor’s reports and multiple other voices instead of what the Word of God tells me. How many of us do this without even realizing it? If you start to listen to the words that come out of your mouth, you will see why certain things are the way they are and why some things haven’t changed. I know the power in our words and our confession because it has changed my life, my husband’s life and my marriage. It has literally saved me from death.

I realize that the enemy is always trying to keep us from walking in our identity and the authority we have as sons and daughters of God because he knows how powerful we are when we walk in that place that we were meant to. This is why it’s so important to keep our minds renewed in the Word and to SPEAK IT! There are many believers who read the Word, but do not use it the way we are meant to. Then there are others who barely even read it. The word of God is so powerful.

Recently, Pastor Debbie from my church, EHC, was exhorting us and reminding us of how God spoke everything into existence with His words. There are so many verses in Genesis where it says that, “God said” when he was creating the universe and everything in it. He has given us the same authority and power when we speak but it is up to us to use it. It’s like coming up against a big enemy and having a huge sword in your hands, but you are just holding it and not using it to fight. What good is the sword if you don’t use it? Pick up your sword and fight back! If you have struggled in any area of your life, it’s time to speak what the Word of God says over that situation and stop listening to and believing every other voice that would tell you the opposite. Stop listening to fear and feed your faith. God has given us His word and the authority to speak it and change our world. This doesn’t make sense to our natural mind. It takes faith and your faith will grow as you walk in obedience, start to open your mouth and declare the Word. the Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God. I dare you to start living this out and see if your situation will change. IT’S TIME TO ROAR!!!!
